Dashboard

Your AvantLink & Impact metrics, unified inside Shopify

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open OptimizeAffiliate. It pulls live data from AvantLink, Impact, or both, and presents your affiliate program performance alongside your Shopify admin - no separate logins needed.

Summary metrics

The top row shows six key numbers for the selected date range. These update every time a data sync runs (every 6 hours automatically, or on demand when you click Refresh).

FieldWhat it means
ClicksTotal unique affiliate clicks from AvantLink and Impact combined. Impact click data syncs automatically and may lag up to 24 hours.
RevenueGross affiliate-attributed revenue across both networks, in your store currency.
ConversionsNumber of completed affiliate transactions in the period - orders tracked by AvantLink or Impact.
CR (Conversion Rate)Conversions ÷ Clicks. The percentage of affiliate clicks that resulted in a purchase.
AOV (Avg Order Value)Revenue ÷ Conversions. Average order size for affiliate-driven purchases.
EPC (Earnings Per Click)Revenue ÷ Clicks. How much revenue each affiliate click generates - a key metric affiliates use to benchmark programs.
NTF RatePercentage of affiliate orders from customers who had never bought from your store before. High NTF = affiliates are driving genuine new acquisition.
ROASRevenue ÷ Commission paid. How many dollars of affiliate revenue you earn per dollar of commission. A ROAS of 10× means $10 earned per $1 paid.
CommissionTotal commission paid or accrued to affiliates in the period.

Date range selector

Use the date range buttons - 7D, 30D, 90D, MTD, YTD - to change the window for all metrics. MTD (month to date) and YTD (year to date) are useful for comparing against your monthly and annual revenue goals. The date range applies to the summary metrics, revenue trend chart, and the partner performance table below.

Revenue goal tracking

If you've set a monthly affiliate revenue goal in Settings, the Dashboard shows a progress bar for the current month: dollars earned so far vs. the target. The Actions Inbox uses this goal to flag when your program is behind pace - typically generating a Priority 1 action when you're more than 15% behind trend.

Revenue trend chart

The bar chart shows daily or weekly affiliate revenue over the selected period. It's useful for spotting seasonal patterns, seeing the impact of a promotion, or catching a sudden drop that might indicate a sync issue or a partner going dormant. Hover over any bar to see the exact figure.

Partner performance table

Below the charts, the partner table ranks every affiliate by revenue for the selected period. Columns include Clicks, CR, Revenue, NTF Rate, ROAS, Commission, and a Trend indicator (↑ or ↓) based on the prior equivalent period. You can sort by any column by clicking the header. For a deeper view of any partner - including historical performance and type classification - go to the Partners page.

Store Health snapshot

The bottom of the Dashboard shows a compact summary of your Store Health status. If the automatic scan found any issues - out-of-stock products in your affiliate feed, low inventory alerts, dead stock, or promo code leaks - a badge count appears here. Click through to the Store Health page for full details and recommended actions.

Manual sync

Click Refresh in the top right to trigger an on-demand data pull from AvantLink and Impact. Syncs typically complete within 30-60 seconds. The sync status badge shows the timestamp of the last successful sync.

Frequently asked questions

What is EPC in affiliate marketing?

EPC stands for Earnings Per Click. It tells you how much revenue your affiliate program generates for every click affiliates send. A higher EPC makes your program more attractive to affiliates recruiting for new partnerships. OptimizeAffiliate calculates EPC as total affiliate revenue divided by total clicks, updated with every data sync from AvantLink and Impact.

How does OptimizeAffiliate calculate ROAS for my affiliate program?

Affiliate ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is calculated as affiliate revenue divided by total commission paid. A ROAS of 10× means you earned $10 in affiliate-attributed revenue for every $1 paid out in commission. This metric helps you benchmark your affiliate channel against paid advertising and understand the true efficiency of your program.

What is NTF rate and why does it matter on AvantLink and Impact?

NTF (New to File) rate measures what percentage of affiliate-driven purchases came from customers who had never bought from your store before. A high NTF rate means affiliates are driving genuine new customer acquisition - not just reactivating existing buyers. Both AvantLink and Impact track this at the transaction level, and OptimizeAffiliate surfaces it on the Dashboard and per-partner in the Partners tab.
