Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing OptimizeAffiliate from the Shopify App Store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

2. Description of service

OptimizeAffiliate is a Shopify embedded app that syncs affiliate performance data from AvantLink, Impact, or both, generates actionable recommendations, and delivers daily email digests for affiliate programs run by Shopify brands and agencies.

3. Billing

OptimizeAffiliate is currently free to install and use. No subscription or payment is required. This may change in the future; if pricing is introduced, existing users will be notified in advance. You may uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin under Apps → OptimizeAffiliate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app to access affiliate data you are not authorized to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary logic from the app
  • Use the app in ways that violate AvantLink's or Impact's terms of service
  • Resell or sublicense the app to third parties

5. Agent recommendations

The Actions Inbox recommendations are generated by an AI model analyzing your affiliate data. They are advisory only. You are solely responsible for any business decisions made based on app recommendations. We make no guarantee that following a recommendation will increase revenue or improve program performance.

6. Availability and uptime

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API outages (Shopify, AvantLink, Impact), or infrastructure issues may cause temporary unavailability. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OptimizeAffiliate and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost affiliate relationships, or data loss.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
